  Take care with communication. This dealer told me he would hold an unusual model for 48 hours for me (I'd offered to buy unseen if necessary) but then one of his staff sold it before our arranged appointment. I received no notification and came down as agreed, resulting in a wasted seven-hour round trip costing £40. It later transpired that the salesman who sold the car had sent me an email which was bounced back a few days later after repeated delivery attempts. The communication process needed to be more certain when an appointment was being cancelled. I would advise anyone in the same position to call before leaving to check the vehicle is still available, regardless of any commitment that may have been given.
